Men’s Ministry presents Daddy/Daughter Dance February 28, 2025 // 6:00PM – 8:00PM // The Hub
Calling fathers and daughters of all ages! Come spend an evening in The Hub celebrating the God-ordained relationship between a father and his daughter(s). This special evening will be filled with fun, dancing, fellowship, live DJ, food and a photo booth. Semi-formal dress is requested, but not mandatory. $10.00 covers Dad and all of his daughters. We would like to welcome guest speaker Bucky Dent to River Oak Church!
Bucky Dent is a former New York Yankee MLB Baseball player. Dent was a 3X MLB All Star, 2X World Series Champion and voted MVP of the 1978 World Series. He is locked into one of MLB’s most famous moments when he hit the “Go Ahead” Home Run to beat the Boston Red Sox’s in the tie breaking game of the 1978 regular season.
Bucky is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the sport of hunting and fishing.

CAST is coming to River Oak Church! The Chesapeake Area Shelter Team (CAST) is a community of faith providing overnight winter shelter for the homeless in Chesapeake. Each scheduled week of CAST, there is one church location for homeless guests to receive shelter, meals, resources, and fellowship. River Oak has the privilege of providing overnight winter shelter to those experiencing homelessness from January 22nd – January 29th, 2025.
It takes hundreds of River Oak volunteers to host this week and there are many different ways to get involved and be the hands and feet of Jesus to our guests in January. Sign up below to volunteer during CAST.
