Help Us Support Oscar Smith High School!

We’re collecting backpacks & supplies to help students start strong and stay strong all year long! Your donation will have a direct impact on the lives of students at Oscar Smith High School, especially those who face extra challenges.

What We Need for Students:
School Supplies:
• Black book bags
• 1.5-inch binders
• Blue & black pens
• Pencils
• Highlighters
• Index cards
• Post-it notes
• Water bottles
• Hand sanitizer (travel-size welcome!)

Snacks:
• Fruit snacks, granola bars, peanut butter crackers
• (No Pop-Tarts, please)

Hygiene Items:
• Deodorant (male & female)
• Fragrance-free lotion
• Hair ties

Drop-Off Location: Main Lobby, Missions Table
Collection Dates: Every Sunday beginning Sunday, August 2, 2026 – Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Let’s show these students they’re seen, valued, and supported every step of the way.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Each summer, blood donations drop as people travel and routines shift, creating a real risk of seasonal blood shortages. By hosting a summer blood drive, your organization helps keep the summer blood supply strong and supports patients relying on lifesaving care.

Anyone who donates at our blood drive will receive a free Fandango movie ticket via email.

Vessels Of Hope is a ministry focused on individuals who are impacted by cancer. This compassion ministry provides prayer, encouraging cards, hand-knotted prayer blankets and gives a wonderful prayer journal to help and encourage those who are going through cancer.

The colors of the Vessels of Hope ribbon each represent a different form of cancer—serving as a gentle reminder of the many journeys, battles, and stories carried by those affected. Together, they symbolize hope, compassion, and the love of a community walking alongside one another through every season.

Baptism NightAugust 16 // 5:30PM – Hotdogs // 6:30PM – Worship & Baptism // Parking Lot by the Main Entrance

Join us Sunday, August 16th at 6:30PM for an outdoor night of acoustic worship & baptism. This is a family-friendly event! Our Men’s Ministry will provide free hot dogs with fixings, chips, and waters. Be sure to stay a little after baptisms to grab an ice cream!

Please bring your own chairs. If you bring a tent, please sit in the back so others can still see the baptisms.

If you’re interested in getting baptized please register by August 2.

C4 Car Show

C4 Cruise-In: Christ, Community, Cars & Coffee
September 19, 2026 // 8-9:30AM

Join us for the River Oak Church C4 Cruise-In! The 3rd Saturday of the month from April – October 2026 (August will not have one – we encourage men to come out to Catapult 2026), 8:00- 9:30 am!

Owners and lookers welcome; it’s all free – free to show, free to look, free to eat (donuts & coffee). Talk cars, show off your ride, and meet other’s that share the same love. All rides are welcome – imports, exotics, trucks, bikes (any vintage, old or new), tractors, customs tuners, off-road, whatever! If you can get it here, we’ll enjoy it. 

We start early, (8:00 am), and we end early, (9:30 am), before the heat of the day, so you have plenty of your Saturday left to do other shows, polish off your honey-do list, or whatever your Saturday looks like!
