Our Structure

Council The Church Council is responsible for spiritually guiding the church in a biblical and loving manner. The Council is composed of men who meet the qualifications for overseers set forth in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 and consists of both ordained and lay leaders.

Coaches Ministry Team Coaches are servant leaders within the congregation who lead specific areas of ministry.  Coaches assist the church staff in leading, training, equipping, and mobilizing ministry teams for effective service. 

Committees The Finance and Personnel Committees oversee the business and human resources responsibilities of the church.  They provide counsel and recommendations to the Senior Pastor, Council, and church staff regarding major financial and staffing commitments and needs. 

Congregation River Oak is an autonomous congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel. We operate under the Lordship of Christ and each member is responsible and accountable to Jesus as Lord.
