Honduras Construction Mission Trip
Honduras Construction Mission Interest Meeting

Do you love working with your hands and serving the Lord? This mission trip to Honduras in April over Spring Break could be a great fit for you! No construction experience needed; all are welcome to serve!
We will have an interest meeting on Sunday, February 1 at 12:30PM in room 121D to share more information about this upcoming trip on April 4 – 11, 2026.
Come learn about Katlyn McConnell, our mission partner, and founder of Finding Hope Ministry in El Porvenir, Honduras. She is expanding her ministry to build a foster care home and she needs our help, prayers, and support. Hope to see you there!
The cost for the trip is Airfare + $350.

Men of River Oak–Join us for a golf retreat to reconnect with God, nature, and new friends. On March 19-21, we will play golf at the beautiful Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg. In the daylight, we will enjoy daily rounds of golf and unlimited range time. In the evenings, you will be challenged to grow in your faith through sermons geared toward men and whole-group worship. Our prayer is that you will drive away feeling refreshed and energized.

Our Senior Adults Ministry (55+) meets for lunch monthly to connect with others in the same stage of life, spend time in fellowship, and hear an encouraging message. The first SALT luncheon of 2026 will be a Fried Chicken potluck. We’d love to have you!

The SALT Ministry is growing and we’re in need of more volunteers! Opportunities include helping with our events (luncheons & parties), our Care Ministry (cards of encouragement, hospital & shut-in visits), and our Outreach Ministry (visits to local senior living facilities). You may include the specific tasks or locations you want to be involved in the comments section. If you are already volunteering, we need you to “re-volunteer” to let us know you wish to continue. Mindful Marriage

Participants will learn how to take steps toward a more mindful and loving marriage through understanding and managing themselves by exploring methods of identifying and coping with reactionary pain and patterns. And, they will learn how to create healthy patterns through self regulation and emotional healing.
