Men’s Ministry presents Daddy/Daughter Dance
February 28, 2025 // 6:00PM – 8:00PM // The Hub

Calling fathers and daughters of all ages! Come spend an evening in The Hub celebrating the God-ordained relationship between a father and his daughter(s). This special evening will be filled with fun, dancing, fellowship, live DJ, food and a photo booth. Semi-formal dress is requested, but not mandatory. $10.00 covers Dad and all of his daughters. Limited seating – register today!

15th Annual Sportsman Night
February 21, 2025
Dinner at 5:30PM – Optional Dinner with limited capacity 
7:00PM – Free Main Event with Bucky Dent

 

  • 5:30pm to 6:45pm – Optional dinner with limited capacity, $6.00 per person (10 & over)

  • 7:00 pm – Main Event with Bucky Dent & Free Door Prizes 

  • Many door prizes and raffles for black powder rifle, crossbow and several Bass Pro Formula rod/reel combo

  • Bring a Wild Game dish to share and you will receive an extra door prize ticket

  • Bring your Wild Game cooking contest entry by 5:15pm and you will receive an extra door prize ticket (gift cards for winners – 1st place $100, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25)

  • Display your Wildlife mount – drop off Friday at River Oak Church 12 noon – 4pm

  • If interested in sponsoring or volunteering for this event, contact Mickey Dunlow at or sign up at lobby table

  • Visit the Sportsman Banquet table at Lobby C  for additional info on Feb. 2nd, 9th, & 16th

We would like to welcome guest speaker Bucky Dent to River Oak Church!

Bucky Dent is a former New York Yankee MLB Baseball player. Dent was a 3X MLB All Star, 2X World Series Champion and voted MVP of the 1978 World Series. He is locked into one of MLB’s most famous moments when he hit the “Go Ahead” Home Run to beat the Boston Red Sox’s in the tie breaking game of the 1978 regular season.

Bucky is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the sport of hunting and fishing.

Prepare to join us for this event and PLEASE invite an unchurched friend or neighbor.

SALT [Senior Adults Living Transformed] Lunch

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE  FOR LUNCH BEFORE 12:00 NOON

We invite all 55+ senior adults for a time of fellowship and a guest speaker. This will be an opportunity to connect with other people in your stage of life.

Please do not arrive before Noon as the Bible Study group meeting is in the room. We will be having Chick-fil-A boxed lunches, coffee, iced tea, and water.

FOCAS (Fellowship of Christian Adult Singles) is a Friday Night Group for adult single men and women starting 9/6/24 at 6:30 meeting the 1st and 3rd Friday nights of each month.  A light dinner is included with our time together.
