Mandy Helvig
Mandy has been part of the River Oak family since 1999. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech (GO HOKIES!) and Master’s degree from Liberty University. Mandy leads our Women’s Ministry here at River Oak and is passionate about seeing women grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus; as well as connecting together in community. She and her husband, Ryan, were married in 2014 and have two children, Hudson and Emmalyn. In her free time, she loves being with her family, enjoying iced coffee year-round, and reading as many books as possible.

Whether it is battling an illness, working a stressful job, single, parenting, being a wife or mom, caring for a sick loved one, we understand it can sometimes be tough. Whatever season of life you are currently in, women’s ministry cares and seeks to be a refuge of prayer and encouragement!
