Blake has been a member of River Oak Church since high school. As a teen, he always enjoyed sports and played football at Old Dominion University where he studied Applied Mathematics. During his junior year of college, the Lord called Blake into ministry, and he soon began serving as a volunteer small group leader for our students. After graduating from ODU, he began attending seminary and now holds a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In January 2021, Blake officially joined our staff and currently serves as our Teaching and Family Pastor. Blake and his wife, BryAnna, were married in March of 2020 and have two daughters, Layla and Rosey. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach with his family, hunting, playing sports, and reading books with a hot cup of coffee. Blake will drink hot coffee in 100-degree weather.
