Night to Shine

Night to Shine is hosted each year on the Friday before Valentine’s Day by churches worldwide, bringing congregations, communities, and families living with disability closer together in fellowship.

River Oak is joining in this celebration in 2027 as a host church and is excited to welcome honored special needs guests (ages 14+) from our community for a night filled with joy and celebration. From the red carpet and paparazzi to dinner, dancing, karaoke, pampering, photo ops, and more, every detail is designed to remind each guest that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. We look forward to creating an unforgettable evening where our honored guests can shine and experience the love of Christ through the care and service of our church family and community.

*This event is not a drop-off event. Parents and caregivers are required to remain on campus for the duration of the event. We encourage parents and caregivers to take advantage of our complimentary Respite Room, where you can enjoy a meal, fellowship with other caregivers, and connect with resources and organizations that serve the special needs community.
