Summer 757 Groups

The ultimate life to imitate is Jesus. Jesus taught thousands; each week, River Oak gathers as a large group to hear his word. Jesus sent hundreds on mission; our ministries are made up of hundreds using their gifts to advance God’s kingdom. Jesus discipled 12; our groups are made up of dozens to follow the practices of Christ. But Jesus also had three – Peter, James, and John, with whom he shared his most intimate moments of life.

Who are your “three”?
To mimic his practice, we are emphasizing Summer 757 Groups!
 
7 – Meet for 7 weeks.
5 – Invite five people or fewer.
7 – Ask the foundational seven questions at each meeting.

This summer, we will explore 1 John, 2 John, and 3 John.
 
When you gather, ask the following questions as a foundation:

How are you doing spiritually?
What did you highlight from this week’s scripture?
Did any verses confuse you?
What did this chapter teach you about God’s heart?
What did this chapter teach you about how to love people?
How are you called to act on this truth?
