Worship Ministry

Vision

Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts” (CSB). The worship ministry at River Oak exists to participate in fulfilling this scriptural command. We give God glory for who He is and what He has done through the work of His Son, Jesus, now dwelling in us through the Holy Spirit. The songs sung each week are an invitation for the church body to disciple one another. We sing the truth of scripture and the Gospel together, reminding each other of what is true and combating the lies of our flesh, the world, and Satan. The heart of the leadership is for the church to vibrantly engage in the worship of God through singing for His glory and for the good of one another. Who We Are

The worship ministry is a partnership of our worship leadership team and congregational volunteers. This ministry is made up of two teams – the Production Team and the Platform Team.
