Armia and Alexsa are currently growing their partnership team. Prayerfully, they will move to Zambia by the end of 2024. Armia will be working as a surgeon at Mukinge Mission Hospital and Alexsa will be working at Mukinge Girls Boarding School.

Mukinge Mission Hospital, a 200 bed referral hospital, is a ministry of the Evangelical Church of Zambia. It is located in the bush, 12+ hours from the capital of Lusaka, Zambia. Physicians here provide much needed care to a vast number of patients who come from all over the Northwest region, sometimes traveling for 2 days. Armia will be working with a team of two other surgeons with the vision of starting a PAACS program (Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons) to train Zambian doctors to provide safe, excellent, and Christ-centered care.

Mukinge Girl’s Boarding School, just a 20 minute walk from the hospital, cares for 800 girls, between the ages of 11-23, coming from various regions in Zambia. Alexsa will be serving alongside the school’s chaplain, mentoring and discipling the girls, as well as facilitating and teaching the girls to facilitate Bible-based trauma healing groups.

Armia and Alexsa are serving with SIM, a century old missions organization. We respond to need, proclaim the gospel, and equip the church!
