INTRO TO ROC BUDDIES

Our ROC Buddies Ministry exists to serve children with a wide variety of special needs, showing them the love of Christ, and challenging them to grow into the individuals that God created them to be.

ROC Kids has various levels of ministry available based on a child’s individual needs. Many children are successful in Small and Large Groups with assistance, while others may need the smaller, calmer environment of our Sensory Rooms to thrive.

Regardless of the Sunday Worship location, your child will encounter a Worship Experience with a weekly Bible Lesson and Memory Verse, support activities and crafts, and fellowship with peers and Small Group Leaders. We use the same curriculum throughout our Children’s Ministry, however, we do modify it based on the individual needs of each child or student.

How do I get my child plugged in?

Contact our Children’s Ministry Staff to be introduced to ROC Buddies Ministry

Visit ROC Kids Ministry so we can discuss an Entry Worship Plan for your child. We will meet with you and your child to get to know their needs.

Complete our Child Bio Form so we can learn more about your child.

Our Special Needs Coordinator, Coaches and Volunteers will spend a few weeks getting to know your child, developing Worship goals and creating an Individual Spiritual Plan that best meets your child’s needs.

Communication between Parents and Special Needs Coordinator and Coaches is key to scheduling Volunteers to care for our ROC Buddies. If your child’s schedule changes, please contact to be sure we have Volunteers available to care for your child.

When dropping your child off in Small or Large Group settings, please wait with your child until a Buddy Volunteer has arrived.

If Buddy Volunteers are not available for any reason, parents are welcome to attend the Worship Experience with their child.

Unless the nature of ROC Kids programming suggests differently, Parents must remain on premises.
