Why Saturday Night?
We know that families can be incredibly busy, with sports and other life events, so Saturday is another option to attend worship at River Oak Church. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to invite family, friends, and neighbors that may never come to a traditional Sunday morning church service.
We hope you will come worship with us weekly on Saturday OR Sunday. We’re making room for you!
What’s different about Saturday Night Worship?
Besides the day of the week, there will be little difference as it is meant to resemble our Sunday service. Worship will still be encouraging and gospel-centered. The sermon will cover the same passage. Children’s programming will be available from babies-5th grade (complete children and student ministry programming will continue to be available on Sundays and throughout the week). Of course, we will have freshly brewed coffee for you to enjoy!
What do I wear?
We are a laid back, family-friendly environment so please wear whatever is comfortable for you.
It’s late enough for you to break from your afternoon activities or tie up any loose ends from your day, yet early enough to eat dinner after service and still get the kids to bed on time. You’re always welcome to come back on Sunday morning to serve on one of our ministry teams!
What about Life Groups?
In the future, we envision launching Saturday night Life Groups on campus. But for now, we encourage you and your family to get connected to one of our existing Life Groups throughout the week, Sunday – Friday, on or off campus!
How can I help on Saturday Nights?
You’re invited to come serve on a ministry team! We are always growing our volunteer teams for Saturday and Sunday. Sign up below if you would like more information about serving on our Saturday Night Volunteer Teams.
Join us as we live everyday (including SATURDAY) captivated and changed by Jesus!
