Christmas in July!

Are you interested in learning more about what actually happens to the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes we collect in the fall?

Ever wonder how the children are selected to receive a box or how the boxes impact local churches around the globe?

River Oak’s Missions & Outreach Director, Summer Michaelson, was given the unique opportunity to travel with Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child project on a vision trip to the Dominican Republic in March to witness all these questions answered first-hand!

We hope you will join us on Sunday, July 21st to hear how the Lord is using this ministry in incredible ways and how River Oak gets the privilege to be part of growing God’s global Church!

At this session we will discuss:
• How the boxes and resources impact, encourage, and minister to the local churches
• The fruit this ministry is now seeing in the previous generation of shoebox recipients
• How you can build a life-giving box that has the most impact
• Learn about the processing center in North Carolina and how you can get involved
• The impact and power of prayer over each box

If you are someone who faithfully packs a box every year, or this ministry is brand new to you, come by and learn more about OCC so that you are equipped with the head and heart knowledge to pack a box this year and share God’s love with the world! You won’t want to miss it!

Pizza lunch will be provided, children welcome!!  Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can order enough pizza.
